Cinnamon Roll Sunday

Sundays are our "Free" day at the house when Hayden is at home. We just wake up & make cinnamon rolls...the kind you take out of the roll, bake & ice. So after we have our cinnamon roll & milk then we go from there...stay home or go to Church...go to Church in Amarillo or here in Vega.
So this Cinnamon Roll Sunday started out as any other. Snuggle on the couch until the cinnamon rolls are done, get all sticky, then it's off to the bath. Hayden LOVES bath time & hates to get out. But when your lips are blue & your fingers & toes are wrinkled, I think it's time to get out. So then it's off & running trying to get ready for Church. Most of the times on Cinnamon Roll Sundays we go to Church here in Vega...it gives us extra time to goof off.
So we grab our "mil" (milk) & a truck & then we are out the door. Needless to say in the hurry of getting in the Church, Hayden takes a major fall right on his head. He cried, Mommy cried...we all cried & almost turned around & went home. But we managed to wipe our tears & walk into the Church. Hayden was so afraid of going to the nursery, he cried even more. So it was up to the balcony for us. There he can play some but he can also learn how to be fairly quite. The sitting still will come later...one task at a time!
Then Hayden's friend from Day Care came to Church that morning. So Hayden & Cole played around a little. Then Cole was off to the nursery, but Hayden still wasn't having any part of that.
About the time Hayden started getting restless, here came Cole to the rescue. Mommy brought treats but Cole's treats were better. So Hayden & Cole sat on the Church steps of the balcony & had their snacks.
Here is a picture of Cole & Hayden having their snacks. If you look close, you can see the war wound on Hayden's head. He was such a trooper though. I'm a very proud Mommy of this little boy.
