Lately Hayden goes around saying "Mine! Mine! Mine!" So I've been trying to teach him how to share. Teaching a toddler to share is hard enough but it's really tough when he's the only child & the only person at home to share with is Mom. So last night we were at Dairy Queen and Hayden was having his "i-cream". Most Bites he took he would say "Mine!"
Then out of the blue, as I'm talking to my friend, I see Hayden holding his spoon at me. He had just licked it & was giving me what had stuck to the spoon. So being the Mom, I take it & I say Thank you!!!
Then began a system: 2 bites maybe 3 or 4 for Hayden & one half licked bite for Mommy!

I was so impressed with him. He is learning to share...granted I wanted more ice cream & less spit...but I'll take what I can get!
Life is SWEET!!!
