I usually get me a cup of coffee & then we rush to the kid's section. Hayden heads straight to his "ooks" (books) that have wheels. He grabs a hand fun of them & then takes them to the stage area & plays cars with them.
Recently a friend of ours taught Hayden a new trick. Hayden grabs the stuffed "Bids" (Big Birds) & "Mos" (Elmos) & stands up on the stage to see how far he can throw them & to see how long we can stand to play this game.
The expression as he throws these poor critters will crack you up.
Usually as long as it keeps him happy, I will play with him for awhile. He loves it!!! The poor "Bids" & "Mos" I don't think are so happy about it!
So many casualties...never had a chance with Hayden around.
So once one or the other of us decide it's time to do something different then we are off & running around again. Thank goodness this is a kid friendly place. Some places we have gone to make you think you are at a library & you have to be quite & can't run around or be a kid. So we have found a place where we can act normal!!!
Priceless
Once in awhile I can finally wear him out & he will sit down to read me an "ook". I have to pay close attention because his stories are just so interesting. Every book read by my child is the greatest book ever read to me!!!
